This year’s YMCA/YWCA Week of Prayer was held from 13th to 19th November 2011.
This joint week of prayer is a tradition dating from 1904. It is a time when local YMCAs and YWCAs unite to consider their work in the context of the Bible and to find guidance and encouragement from Jesus Christ’s teachings. And it is a time to pray.
YMCA Peace Day was celebrated on Saturday 19th November at the end of the Week of Prayer.
