Olde Vechte Foundation from Ommen, The Netherlands, is organizing an extraordinary adventure in nature, a youth exchange for 48 young people who want to reconnect to themselves through nature and to broaden their environmental awareness.
During 2 weeks you will join a journey leading back to the basics You will:
-share your personal experience and get inspired by each other
-live, learn and cook outdoor
-create your own project
-travel around the Netherlands and discover new perspectives
-experience yourself through games, connectivities and rituals in the nature
-share it with the rest of the world
-create videos on ‘how to connect yourself with nature and the environment in order to preserve it’
Natural Advanced Planning Visit(APV) will take place on 18-19th of May 2017 (Arrival day: 17 May – Departure day: 19 May) at Buitendoor campsite.
For the APV there will be 1 Group Leader & 1 Participant from each organisation. Both of them are participating in the Youth Exchange as well.
Natural Youth Exchange will take place on 2nd-15th of July 2017 (Arrival day: 1 July – Departure day: 16 July) at Buitendoor campsite.
For the Youth Exchange there will be 1 Group Leader & 5 Participants from each organisation.
Profile of the Group Leader
-18+ years old
-enthusiastic and creative
-experienced with running activities in environmental/nature education and willing to deliver workshops during the -exchange (and practice it during the APV)
-inspiring with sense of initiative
-basic knowledge of English
Profile of the Partcipant
-16-25 years old (exceptions can be made but still they need to be under 30 years old)
-active and energetic person who is willing to explore, learn and play
-loving nature and want to find a new connection
-ready to live outdoor life & travel around the country
-basic knowledge of English
Partner countries: Czech Republic, Romania, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Macedonia, Bulgaria, the Netherlands
Reimbursement:
You will be reimbursed with the full amount of money in cash both for the APV and for the Youth Exchange.travel cost limit for Romania is 275 EUR.
Fee:
There is a 75 € participation fee for the Youth Exchange which you can pay from your travel reimbursement.
