Our international volunteer Margarida Honório has been in Bucharest last weekend. She took a break from touristing to participate in an activity organized by “COSI – Civic Orientation and Social Integration”, an association that also works with international volunteers in the capital. COSI has organized an afternoon of cycling through Calea Victoriei to promote the usage of alternative means of transportation. “Faster than you” was a fun event in which the volunteers and participants carried a sign promoting bicycle use to bring people’s attention to this transport that can save you so many hours in a city where traffic congestion is a big problem.
