On the 10th of April YMCA’s international volunteers went with the forrest district of Firiza and Rotary Baia Mare to plant trees and bring back to life an area in which the trees had been cut before. This action took place to raise awareness on the importance of forests and what it takes to keep one alive. It was a morning of work in a good environment that made the volunteers very satisfied.

Also, throughout this month local and international volunteers joined forces to put together a workshop for highschools in Baia Mare and Somcuta Mare in order to raise awareness on climate change. More importantly, these workshops included a consultation to the students about their opinion on how to resolve different climate change related matters.
